Google Business Profile (GMB) Management – Local SEO

Google Business Profile Management for Maps Visibility, Calls and Direction Requests

For most local businesses, Google Maps is where the comparison actually happens – often before a website is even opened.

Good fit

Best for clinics, stores, service providers, restaurants, education centres, travel companies, repair businesses and other Google-eligible local businesses.

Problems we fix

The issue is usually not lack of activity. It is the wrong activity left unmeasured.

These are the kinds of gaps this service is built to address before more budget, content or effort is added.

01

Your profile exists but doesn't appear for the nearby searches that actually matter.

02

Categories, services, photos, reviews or your website link are incomplete or outdated.

03

You get profile views, but few calls, direction requests or website clicks come from them.

Trust positioning

What we believe about this work.

From our Delhi base, we manage Google Business Profiles (still commonly called GMB) and local pages for businesses that want a nearby search to end in a call, a visit, or a direction request, not just an impression.

Local SEO has to be accurate to survive. We don't recommend fake addresses, keyword-stuffed business names, or duplicate listings – shortcuts like these create real suspension risk, and Google suspends far more profiles than most business owners expect.

Who should consider this?

Best for clinics, stores, service providers, restaurants, education centres, travel companies, repair businesses and other Google-eligible local businesses.

How it connects

A service should support the whole customer journey.

A buyer does not experience your marketing as separate departments. They see a search result, profile, post, ad, landing page, review, form, WhatsApp message and follow-up. The service is planned around that journey so effort does not stop at impressions, clicks or uploads.

  • NAP (name/address/phone) consistency review

03

Where the website, offer, follow-up or budget is limiting results.

04

What should be improved next, in plain language.

FAQ

Questions serious buyers actually ask.

Is Google Business Profile free, or do I pay Google for ranking?

Creating and running a Google Business Profile is free – Google does not sell organic Maps ranking. Management costs come from the actual work: optimisation, photos, service descriptions, review handling, local landing pages and ongoing tracking, not from a fee paid to Google itself.

Why is my business not showing up on Google Maps for searches near me?

Common causes include a weak or wrong category, incomplete services, low relevance to the specific search, fewer reviews than nearby competitors, an inactive profile, inconsistent business information across the web, or a website that doesn't reinforce what the profile claims.

Can I add extra keywords into my Google Business Profile name?

No – only your real, legally-used business name belongs there. Stuffing keywords into the name field is a direct guideline violation and a common trigger for suspension. Keywords belong in your services list, description, posts and website content instead.

What actually causes a Google Business Profile suspension?

The most common trigger is an automated policy sweep, not a manual review – things like incorrect hours, an unverified address change, a recent name change, or a linked manager account that itself got flagged can all set it off. Independent local-SEO data suggests roughly a third of local business profiles get suspended at least once; the good news is the majority of those are recoverable with the right documentation.

How long does Google Business Profile reinstatement usually take?

There's no official guarantee, but straightforward reinstatements – where the business can clearly document it's legitimate – commonly resolve within one to three weeks. Repeated or unclear violations take longer and sometimes require a formal appeal with supporting photos and documentation.

Is it safe to make a lot of changes to my profile right after it's reinstated?

No – this is one of the most common ways businesses get suspended a second time. A profile is under closer scrutiny immediately after reinstatement, so the safer approach is minimal, gradual changes over the following weeks rather than fixing everything at once.

How do reviews actually affect local ranking?

Reviews influence both trust and ranking, especially when they're recent, detailed and genuine. Fake or incentivised reviews are risky – they can be detected and removed, and in some cases contribute to suspension.

What should actually be tracked from a Google Business Profile?

Calls, direction requests, website clicks, messages, profile views, and – critically – which pages people land on after clicking through from the profile. Views alone don't tell you whether the profile is generating business.
